Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account on AABA (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have permission from a parent or legal guardian.

3. Account Registration

You register using an email address. We send a one-time code to verify each sign-in. You are responsible for keeping access to your email secure. You may optionally provide a phone number for contact purposes.

4. Use of the Service

AABA helps improvisers find and book each other for coaching, accompaniment, and team activities. You agree to:

• Provide accurate information in your profile and bookings.
• Respect other users and not harass, threaten, or impersonate anyone.
• Honor your commitments when you confirm a booking, or use the replacement flow when you cannot.
• Not use the Service for activities unrelated to improv and the AABA community.

5. Community Guidelines & Prohibited Content

AABA includes features where the content you create is visible to other users — including your profile, team descriptions, event details, and community-generated content such as the suggestions you contribute to the Suggestion Generator. You are responsible for everything you post, and it must be appropriate for a shared, all-ages improv community.

When using any part of the Service, you agree not to post or submit:

• Personal or identifying information about yourself or anyone else where it does not belong — including email addresses, phone numbers, home addresses, or other private contact or identity details. (Contact fields on your own profile are the appropriate place for your contact information.)
• Hateful or discriminatory content — slurs or content that attacks, demeans, or harasses people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, age, or any other protected characteristic.
• Harassment, threats, or bullying directed at any person or group.
• Sexually explicit, graphically violent, or otherwise obscene content, and excessive or gratuitous profanity.
• Unlawful, infringing, deceptive, or spam content — including content that violates someone else’s rights, impersonates another person, or advertises unrelated products or services.

Community-generated suggestions are shared with other improvisers who use the relevant category, so keep them fun, inclusive, and free of the content above. We may review, remove, or refuse to display any content that violates these guidelines, and users can report content they believe is inappropriate. Repeated or serious violations may result in suspension or termination of your account under Section 9.

6. Payments

AABA does not currently process payments. Listed rates are informational only and any financial arrangements are made directly between users. AABA is not party to those arrangements and is not responsible for collection, refund, or dispute resolution between users.

7. User Content

You retain ownership of the content you post on AABA (profile bios, team descriptions, event details, etc.). By posting content, you grant AABA a non-exclusive, worldwide license to host, display, and distribute that content as needed to operate the Service.

8. Privacy

Our handling of personal information is described in the Privacy Policy.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time from your profile settings. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. Upon deletion, your personal information is removed. Records of confirmed bookings may be retained in summary form for the benefit of confirmed counterparties.

10. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. AABA does not warrant that bookings will be honored, that listed rates will be accepted, or that the Service will be available without interruption.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, AABA is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

12. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
